Imperfect Reflections

"And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord's glory, are being transformed into His likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit"  2 Cor 3:18

             Welcome to my blog.  I’m starting this so I can let my thoughts flow.  I love to talk, and talk, and talk, but because I know people don’t always have the time to listen to my ramblings, I shy away from it.  However, I have been given the gift of the written word, and I know that if I just write down what I’m thinking and feeling, then it will no longer lay dormant.  If I don’t do anything about it I’ll no longer have it; at least not to the full extent that I would like.

            This is a way for me to talk about what I’ve learned- and to reflect on it, what has come to me, no matter how big or small it may seem or even be.  This is my outlet, and I’d like to share it with anyone who is interested in reading it.  I don’t know what I’ll write as I go on, and I don’t know how often I’ll write.  It may be daily, every other day, or who knows.  But when I feel strongly to write I will because I know that strength, that push, is from Christ Jesus Himself, pushing me to share what has come to me, and not to keep it to myself.  His words have always been made to be shared, and that’s what our goal in life should be.  To share the Word.

            My thoughts are not perfect, for only He is perfect, and I definitely don’t have all the answers, but I am learning and growing daily, and I will continue to learn from this day until the day of judgment.  I am known to go off on tangents (at times my husband and I retrace our conversation to see where it started and where it ended up), but it all seems to flow well.  Some things may sound odd, and others may grab hold of you.  I don’t know.  All I know is that I write what comes to me, all that is Spirit led, and go from there.  I pray that through these words I may touch even just one person, and that one person may go on to touch the life of another, and so on.

            Please feel free to comment.  I would love to hear feedback and your own opinions on different things.  Just know that any negative, non-constructive comments will be deleted.  This is all for the glory of God, whom we can only receive through His Son, Christ Jesus, who is in Him, and by accepting Jesus as our Lord and Savior we are given the Holy Spirit, a gift we are given as a promise between now and the time that Christ will return, and through whom I am able to write.
